 Armenia has wide practice of usage of phosphorus munitions - Hikmet Hajiyev

Armenia has previously used phosphorus projectiles during the 2016 April battles, Assistant to the Azerbaijani President, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev tweeted.

"Armenia fired phosphorus projectiles to Askipara village of Tartar region. We invited OSCE representatives and military attaches to the region and with their participation unexploded ordnance was neutralised", Hikmet Hajiyev said in his tweet.

"On October 8th, Armenia fired phosphorus projectile to Fuzuli region of Azerbaijan. It did not explode on impact zone and have been identified and decommissioned by the ANAMA experts. Armenia sets fires in Shusha forests usinf phosphorus aiming to cover cameras of drones with white smoke," Presidential Aide wrote.

Hikmat Hajiyev also shared a video of decomposition of phosphorus projectiles to Fuzuli region fired by Armenia.
