There is no religious conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia - Presidential Aide

Armenia claims that the Govhar Aga mosque in Shusha was allegedly attacked by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev said.

Hajiyev made the remark at the briefing, AzVision.az reports on Nov. 3.

Hajiyev said that Armenia once again tried to spread false information: “There is no religious conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia. The Azerbaijani Armed Forces do not fire on civilian targets. Govhar Agha Mosque is a historical monument of Azerbaijan and is important for us. The spread information is another provocation of Armenia."
