The decision on the details of the special session on COVID-19 was adopted by the support of the member states at the UN General Assembly, the president of the UNGA, Volkan Bozkir tweeted.
The special session will be held on December 3-4, Bozkir added in his tweet.
Note, the resolution on the modalities of the 31st special session of the UN General Assembly in response to COVID-19 was initiated by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in his capacity as the Chairman of the Non-Aligned Movement.
