Goble made the remarks commenting on the great military advantage the Azerbaijani Army gained in Nagorno-Karabakh after liberating the city of Shusha, AzVision.az reports.
According to the former diplomat, some forces in the international community will try to prevent a complete victory.
"Because if Armenia loses completely, there is an all too real chance that Yerevan will be completely destabilized and a more distant chance that the conflict could shift from conventional war to something else,” he said.
Goble also stressed that one should not forget the long history of ASALA attacks on Turks.
