"Azerbaijanis must return to their liberated lands" - ISESCO

Mosques and religious centers of Azerbaijan were attacked in the Karabakh region, and despite taking the relevant decisions by international organizations, the opposing side ignored them, Islamic Organization for Education, Science and Culture (ISESCO) Director General Salem Bin Mohammed Al Maliki said.

Maliki made the remark during an international conference on the theme ‘Problems of the Modern World: Incitement to Hatred, Terrorism, Extremism, Islamophobia and Armenia's Aggression against Azerbaijan’ organized by the Caucasian Moslems Office, Trend reports.

As he noted, the owners of the historical-cultural heritage must return to their lands.

"Azerbaijan is a safe and proud land between the West and the East. A number of Azerbaijan's initiatives have been approved by the world community. Peaceful coexistence in Azerbaijan will make a great contribution to the establishment of peace. I wish peace to the President and the people of Azerbaijan," said ISESCO Director General.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and President of the Russian Federation made a joint statement. A complete ceasefire and a cessation of all hostilities in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict shall be introduced at 00:00 hours Moscow time on 10 November 2020.
