Erdogan: Let’s start planting trees in Karabakh

Turkey with excitement followed the Azerbaijani Army’s struggle over the past 40 days and the liberation of Azerbaijani territories from about 30-year-long occupation, said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Erdogan made the remarks during an international tree planting campaign "Breath to the Future, Breath to the World", AzVision.az reports.

“As one nation, two states, we have made every effort,” the Turkish leader said. “We will continue to follow this path.”

Later on, Erdogan through a live connection greeted Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, who is on a visit to Baku. Erdogan said these trees will soon be planted in the liberated Karabakh.

“Our Azerbaijani brothers will again return to Karabakh. Let’s start planting trees in these territories,” the Turkish leader added.
