The ambassador referred to the remarks voiced by Secretary of State at the French Foreign Ministry Jean-Baptiste Le Moyne regarding the resolution, AzVision.az reports.
“French Government Minister Jean-Baptiste Le Moyne, speaking to the French Senate, commented on this issue. The policy of the French government is not to unilaterally recognize the “Nagorno-Karabakh Republic”. This would be neither useful nor effective,” Gross tweeted.
According to the ambassador, the solution to the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh will not come from a unilateral gesture by France but from dialogue between the parties.
