UEFA announced on Thursday the decision of its Executive Committee to authorize the holding of matches in Armenia and Azerbaijan following the ceasefire agreed between the two countries on November 9, AzVision.az reports citing official UEFA website.
With the signing of this ceasefire “and taking into account all the circumstances, it is considered that the conditions for holding UEFA matches in both countries can now be met,” UEFA said after its executive meeting held by videoconference at the that it was decided to remove the ban imposed on October 20.
