Head of Azerbaijan State Security Service promoted to Colonel General

Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on conferring the high military rank of Colonel General upon Head of the country’s State Security Service Ali Naghiyev, AzVision.az reports.

Naghiyev has been serving as head of the State Security Service since 2019.
