Azerbaijan corrected the historical injustice, says President Ilham Aliyev

During the 44-day war, Azerbaijan won a tremendous victory and defeated Armenia ending the occupation, President of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev said in his speech at the Victory Parade on Azadlig Square in Baku, AzVision.az reports.

"Every day of these 44 days is our glorious history. Every day the Azerbaijani Army was advancing", President Ilham Aliyev stated

The President noted that the Azerbaijani soldier, the Azerbaijani officer was fighting for one thing - to put an end to the Armenian occupation, the injustice highlighting that they achieved our goal. 

Recalling that he swore to protect the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan by signing the Constitution and the Holy Quran when he was elected President in 2003, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief said: "Today, I can say with great pride that Azerbaijan has achieved what it wanted, corrected historical justice and international law. "
