Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mustafa Sentop congratulated the Azerbaijani people on the occasion of the Victory Parade in his tweet, AzVision.az reports.
"I congratulate Azerbaijan on the Victory Day, who won a great victory in the Nagorno-Karabakh War. I wish God's mercy to 2,783 heroes who were martyred for raising the Azerbaijani flag in the Karabakh and ending the oppression and occupation," he said.
Note, the Armenian Armed Forces launched a large-scale military attack on positions of the Azerbaijani army on the front line, using large-caliber weapons, mortars, and artillery on Sept. 27. Azerbaijan responded with a counter-offensive along the entire front. On November 10, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia signed an agreement to end six weeks of fierce fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh.
During the 44-day war, the Azerbaijan Army liberated all territories from the Armenian occupation and restored the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
