Voluntary Youth Association holds online peer to peer facilitation course

The project “E-PEER Online peer to peer facilitation course” project was held with the participation of young people in Azerbaijan.

An online facilitation course has been held with the participation of sixteen young people from different regions of Azerbaijan via the ZOOM meeting program.

The project "E-PEER Online peer to peer facilitation course" organized by the Voluntary Youth Association was devoted to online program development and design, distance learning techniques, online facilitation, and evaluation of the learning process. For 2 months, the project participants participated in intensive training with the participation of local and foreign (Spain, Kenya, Turkey) facilitators and speakers, and carried out their peer trainings.

Project manager Ilkin Aliyev noted that 16 young people from Baku and 7 different regions attended the course and those who graduated program were awarded a Certificate of peer facilitator. He also mentioned that the project “E-Peer - Online Peer to peer facilitation course” was held in cooperation with MitOst e.V. within the frame of the Solidarity in Action.

The importance of e-learning courses was mentioned and the project manager of E-PEER said that this type of program will be continued.
