  10 schoolchildren killed, 16 injured as a result of Armenian aggression

Minister of Education of Azerbaijan Emin Amrullayev attended an online conference dedicated to the International Human Rights Day on December 10 with the invitation of the Azerbaijani Commissioner for Human Rights, AzVision.az reports.

Speaking at the conference, the minister gave detailed information about the measures taken to ensure the sustainability of education in the face of the coronavirus pandemic and provocations of the Armenian military forces.

Speaking of the activities of the "Virtual School" platform established with cooperation of ‘Microsoft’ to ensure the transition to online learning, the Minister noted that more than 1.3 million students and more than 120,000 teachers were registered on the platform.

The minister also stated that 10 schoolchildren were killed, 16 were injured and 54 educational institutions were destroyed as a result of the attacks of the Armenian military forces, which lasted more than 6 weeks. He emphasized that relevant measures have been taken to eliminate the inflicted damage.
