The fire protection services of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan started operating in the liberated areas, said the Minister of Emergency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov, AzVision.az reports.
The Minister stated that the MES expanded the scope of its activities establishing the relevant structures in Azerbaijan's liberated territories to ensure the security of the population and eliminate existing problems under the instructions of the President Ilham Aliyev.
"Units of the Ministry's State Fire Service are already operating in Fuzili, Jabrayil, Zangilan, Gubadli, Shusha, Kalbajar and Hadrut settlement of Khojavend region. All units are equipped with appropriate machinery and equipment to provide a high level of service. Also, relevant units of the Karabakh Regional State Fire Control Department of the Fire Control Service have started operating in Fizuli, Jabrayil, Zangilan, Gubadli and Khojavend regions”, Heydarov noted.
