The ceasefire is being maintained in Karabakh and will become even stronger, said Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in a video conference meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) on Dec. 18
Emphasizing his full agreement with Russian President Vladimir Putin on this issue, the head of state underlined that we should talk about the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in the past.
Speaking of Russia's peacekeeping mission in Karabakh, President Ilham Aliyev said: “The mission is in constant contact with the relevant structures of Azerbaijan. There has been only one incident of ceasefire violation since the signing of the Trilateral Declaration. The incident was eliminated within a day. The ceasefire is being maintained, and I think it will become stronger day by day. "
