Freedom Gazette: The world has remained indifferent to Armenian aggression

Indian news portal Freedom Gazette has published an article titled “Why the world should care about Nagorno-Karabakh”.

The article by Aynur Bashirova, a member of the Azerbaijani Culture Center in Belgium, noted that Armenia’s attack on Azerbaijani territory in 2020 was not only an assault on Azerbaijan but also on European and Asian energy security, the State Committee for Work with Diaspora told AzVision.az.

The author stressed that the world has remained neutral in the face of this most recent Armenian aggression, creating a dangerous global precedent and eroding trust in global institutions.

Emphasizing that Azerbaijan, a secular, multicultural, multi-religious state, was one of the first countries in the world to grant equal rights to women in 1918, the author provided detailed information about the history of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Armenia’s policy of aggression and terrorism.

According to the article, the international community has turned a blind eye to the occupation of Azerbaijan’s ancient lands for many years, as well as war crimes and ethnic cleansing committed by Armenia. The author also explained the reasons for the 44-day war.

Bashirova also called on the international community to act to ensure Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity for the sake of regional and international energy security and economic growth.
