The senator spoke about the pressure and threats of the Armenians against the Italian parliamentarians following their trip to Azerbaijan, AzVision.az reports.
“I’m really concerned about the threats the delegation members are receiving every day, and the police have already been informed of this issue. Those, who threatened us with death because we shared our impressions and visited these territories as parliamentarians, do not impress me as people who want peace. I’d like to repeat that the police will deal with this issue. We know that insults are typical for social networks, but physical threats have a completely different context,” Rizzotti added.
Rizotti thoroughly explained the purpose of the Italian parliamentarians’ visit to Azerbaijan.
She noted that the conflict would not have occurred if Armenia had not made territorial claims against Azerbaijan.
The senator also spoke about the crimes, the Khojaly genocide, committed by the Armenians against the civilian population of Azerbaijan.
