These awards confirm the high appreciation of the services of servicemen who took part in the Patriotic War by the President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.
It also has a special importance in terms of raising the spirit of military patriotism.
Under the relevant decrees, from December 9 to 30, 83 servicemen were awarded the title of "Hero of the Patriotic War", 33 - “Victory” Order, 204 - “Karabakh” Order, 3 - the 1st degree, 9 - the 2nd degree, 331- the 3rd degree “For Service to the Motherland” Order. 105 people were awarded the 3rd degree “Rashadat” Order.
Following medals were also awarded to the military servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan:

622 servicemen- “For Bravery”
1113 servicemen - “For Distinguished Service”

12 519 servicemen - “For the Liberation of Jabrayil”
13 953 servicemen - “For the Liberation of Fuzuli”
7991 servicemen - “For the Liberation of Khojavend”
3549 servicemen - “For the Liberation of Zangilan”
3572 servicemen - “For the Liberation of Sugovushan”
9376 servicemen - “For the Liberation of Gubaldi”
4646 servicemen - “For the Liberation of Shusha”
5203 servicemen - “For the Liberation of Kalbajar”
2267 servicemen - “For the Liberation of Aghdam”
5775 servicemen - “For the Liberation of Lachin”
1981 - “For Military Service”
The total number of awards is 82,670. Awarding servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan will continue.
