“I was deeply saddened by the news of casualties and destruction caused by an earthquake that struck your country,” the Azerbaijani president said in his letter.
“On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I offer my deepest condolences to you, the family members and relatives of those who were killed and the whole people of Croatia, and wish the injured the swiftest possible recovery,” President Aliyev added.
