Hasanov made the remarks Thursday at a military ceremony in Baku, which was also joined by Turkish Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar, AzVision.az reports.
“I am very happy to see our brothers in our country today,” the Azerbaijani minister said.
Minister Hasanov expressed his gratitude to Turkey for strongly supporting Azerbaijan.
He also recalled that Azerbaijani and Turkish troops marched shoulder to shoulder in the Victory Parade held on December 10, 2020, on Azadlig Square, Baku.
“On that historic day, all cities in Azerbaijan were decorated with the Azerbaijani and Turkish flags,” the minister added.
