The liberation of the Karabakh has created a new stage in the development of economic relations between Iran and Azerbaijan, Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Seyyed Abbas Mousavi said, Azvision.az reports.
He said that there was a great potential for further development of mutual economic relations and this potential should be used. Due to the fact that Ardabil region is located on the border with the liberated regions of Azerbaijan, the companies of the region may take part in the reconstruction work in Karabakh. Iranian companies have a vast experience in the field of construction and agriculture.
The diplomat also stated that Iran supported the military operations launched by the Azerbaijani army to liberate Karabakh on the basis of international law.
He added that Iran's participation in the reconstruction of Karabakh was in the interests of both his country and Azerbaijan.
