The Armenian Foreign Ministry's attempt to justify the illegal visits of Armenian officials to the Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan and claim which contradicts the obligations of the trilateral statement prove that Armenian officials disregard the reality, said Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Leyla Abdullayeva, AzVision.az reports.
"The Armenian leadership is not thinking about the people living in the Nagorno-Karabakh region, their future coexistence in peace and security, prosperity, but about their narrow political interests, which are focused on the past", Leyla Abdullayeva added.
Armenian Armed Forces launched a large-scale military attack on positions of Azerbaijani army on the front line, using large-caliber weapons, mortars and artillery on Sept. 27. Azerbaijan responded with a counter-offensive along the entire front.
On November 10, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia signed an agreement to end six weeks of fierce fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh.
