 Azerbaijani, Russian, Armenian prosecutors general meet in Moscow

A delegation led by Azerbaijan’s Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev paid a visit to Moscow to attend events dedicated to the 299th anniversary of the Prosecutor’s Office of Russia.

The visit took place at the invitation of Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan told AzVision.az.

As part of the visit, Kamran Aliyev held a meeting with his Russian counterpart. The parties hailed the development of friendly relations and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia, stressing that thanks to the joint efforts of the heads of state and their political will, the bilateral ties have reached the level of strategic partnership.

During the meeting, the parties signed a cooperation program for 2021-2023 to ensure the implementation of the agreement on cooperation signed between the Prosecutor’s Offices of Azerbaijan and Russia on 24 June 2019.

The meeting was also attended by Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu.

On the sidelines of the visit, Kamran Aliyev held a trilateral meeting with his Russian and Armenian counterparts. The meeting was initiated by Russia.

The parties discussed issues of implementation of relevant points of the trilateral statements signed by the heads of state on 10 November 2020 and 11 January 2021, as well as legal cooperation mechanisms.
