A vaccination center will be built in Shusha and will operate in the coming days, said the head of the Health Organization Department of the Ministry of Health, Teymur Musayev at a coronavirus press briefing held on January 16, AzVision.az reports.
"All medical centers in Azerbaijan are fully ready for the vaccination process. The coronavirus vaccination will be based on the principle of voluntariness. The next principles in the strategy are security, transparency, phasing, fairness, responsibility and cooperation. The main goal is to stabilize the epidemiological situation, reduce morbidity and mortality", Teymur Musayev noted.
Musayev also added that in the first stage, people with high medical risk, in the second stage, people over 50 and people with at least one chronic disease will be vaccinated.
