Last year 5 convicts were brought to Azerbaijan from foreign countries, and 25 convicted foreigners were transferred to their countries, Adil Abilov, head of the international cooperation department of the Justice Ministry, said at a press conference on Monday, AzVision.az reports.
Abilov noted that 7 people were extradited to Azerbaijan from foreign countries in 2020.
“One of them was extradited from Turkey, one from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and 2 from Germany. Last year, Azerbaijan extradited 6 foreign nationals,” he added.
