Nearly 50, 000 people have received the first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine in Azerbaijan, said the head of the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, Ibrahim Mammadov, AzVision.az reports.
He highlighted that most of the vaccinated people are the healthcare workers.
Note, on January 18, Azerbaijan started vaccination program against coronavirus. At the initial stage, healthcare workers, population aged 65 years or over and personnel involved in anti-epidemic measures by law enforcement agencies recieved vaccines.
