Famous photojournalist shares images of destroyed Javanshir Khan Palace in Shusha

World-renowned photojournalist Reza Deghati shared on his Instagram page new images of Javanshir Khan Palace in Shusha.

"In 1992, I visited the house and palace where Khurshid Banu Natavan lived. The Javanshir Khan Palace functioned as a house museum until the occupation of the city by Armenian forces. When I returned to Shusha in December 2020, I was almost shocked. Everything inside the museum was looted and the house itself was partially destroyed. The yard of the house was turned into a pigsty?” Deghati wrote.
