The construction of the airport in Fuzuli is expected to be completed in April-May next year, Chief engineer of Azvirt Jafaraga Shiriyev said, Azvision.az reports.
Shiriyev noted that the speed of the construction process was low due to the ongoing demining work in the area: "Starting from the spring of this year, the construction process will be accelerated and a 24-hour schedule will be introduced. The construction of a 3,000-meter runway is also planned to be completed this year.
