President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the "provision the activities of the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan", AzVision.az reports.
According to the decree, the "Charter of the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan" was approved and the authorized foundation of the Agency is formed at the expense of state property transferred to its balance.
The Cabinet of Ministers must submit the relevant proposals to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan within two months from the date of state registration of the Agency in order to assess the state property transferred to the balance of the Agency and take it into account in the authorized foundation of the Agency.
In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers, taking into account international experience, must prepare and submit a draft Law on Demining Activities within three months, and resolve other issues arising from the decree to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
