The Coordination Headquarters held a meeting of the Working Group on the return of the population to the liberated territories of the Interdepartmental Center, AzVision.az reports.
The meeting was dedicated to the results of 2020. At the meeting, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev assigned specific tasks for the return of the population to the liberated territories, which is one of the main goals of restoration and reconstruction, and gave the necessary instructions in this direction.
The head of the working group, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Head of the Territorial Organization Department of the Presidential Administration Zeynal Nagdaliyev gave detailed information about the work carried out in accordance with the instructions of the President.
Also, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Head of the Department of Economic Issues and Innovative Development Policy of the Presidential Administration Shahmar Movsumov, Assistant to the First Vice President Emin Huseynov, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev, Minister of Agriculture Inam Karimov, Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture Anar Guliyev, Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons Rovshan Rzayev and other heads of relevant government agencies discussed the planned activities in the liberated territories.
Note, on November 24, 2020, President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on the establishment of a Coordination Headquarters for addressing the issues in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan in a centralized manner.
Under the order, Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan Samir Nuriyev was appointed the head of the Headquarters.
The Headquarters consists of 30 members. An Interdepartmental Center was also created under the Headquarters in order to fulfill the function of the secretariat and communications and provide the necessary analytical and organizational support.
