The YASHAT Foundation has raised over 29,492,031.58 million manat to support the families of the wounded and martyrs, AzVision.az reports.
AZN 16.434.136, 055 were donated by physical entities and AZN 13, 057,895.03 by legal entities.
The foundation distributed 4,082,315.38 manat. The current balance is 25,409,716.20 manat.
So far, the Foundation has visited the families of 2,745 martyrs. The Foundation also registered the appeals of 288 people seriously injured in the Great Patriotic War. To date, 1,960 people have been supported by the foundation and their problems are being addressed. In total, 11,847 martyrs' families and the wounded were visited.
To date, 571 payments have been made to solve the problems of the families of martyrs and the wounded. The amount covered by the Foundation to meet the needs was AZN 4,082, 315. 38.
Note, on 8 December 2020, President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on the establishment of the YASHAT Foundation in order to support the war-wounded and families of martyrs who protected the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Under the presidential order, the funds of the Foundation are formed through voluntary financial assistance (donations) provided by citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijanis living abroad, other individuals and legal entities, as well as other sources not prohibited by law.
