  Armenia’s Pashinyan intends to hold constitutional referendum in October

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced Monday that a constitutional referendum is planned to be held in the country in October 2021.

Speaking during a rally at Republic Square, Yerevan, Pashinyan pointed out that there are shortcomings in the current constitution.  

“We believe that we will make the best choice. The process must be carried out in close cooperation with the parliament, government, political forces, president and civil society,” he added.
