  Azerbaijan demines over 128 hectares of area in five districts

Over 128 hectares of area in Azerbaijan’s Aghjabadi, Aghdam, Fuzuli, Tartar and Khojavend districts were inspected and cleared of mines last year, according to a report for 2020 by the Cabinet of Ministers, AzVision.az reports.

According to the report, the territories subjected to the Armenian military aggression, the territories (including territories near strategically important oil and gas pipelines and power plants) liberated from occupation, as well as former ammo depots and training grounds were cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance in 2020.
