Azerbaijan's Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed a decree in accordance with the decree "On the application of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Medicines " for prevention of the threat of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the implementation of immunization measures in this field, AzVision.az reports.
1. To bring 432,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine belonging to the Swedish company 'AstraZeneca' in compliance with the agreement signed between State Agency on Compulsory Health Insurance and GAVI ALLIANCE on 18 September, 2020.
2. Ministry of Health and State Agency on Compulsory Health Insurance must solve issues arising from the Decree.
3. The Decree enters into force on the day of signing.
