The 5th edition of the EU Business Environment Report 2020 was presented at the online event, AzVision.az reports citing the Ministry of Economy.
The event was attended by Azerbaijani officials, representatives of international organizations and entrepreneurs.
Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov stressed the significance of the cooperation with the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan in terms of applying international experience in the implementation of systemic measures aimed at expanding and diversifying the Azerbaijani economy.
Mikayil Jabbarov highlighted the importance of mutual visits and meetings for boosting the relations between the the parties noting that the EU is one of the main trade partners of Azerbaijan.
"In 2020, the trade turnover amounted to $ 9.33 billion. The total amount of EU investments in Azerbaijan over the past eight years is more than $ 20 billion", he added.
