Italian media outlets such as Politicamente Corretto, Askanews, Agenzia Nova, Yahoo Notizie and KmetroO published articles on the threat of landmines in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, AzVision.az reports.
The articles cover the views expressed at the event organized at ADA University on the occasion of International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action.
Speaking at the event, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev stated that landmines planted by Armenia in Azerbaijan pose a serious threat to the security, safety and life of civilians, as well as prevent socio-economic development.
