Azerbaijan and Iran have achieved great progress in all areas, said President Ilham Aliyev in his meeting with Iranian FM Mohammad Javad Zarif on May 25, AzVision.az reports.
Ilham Aliyev touched on the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran highlighting that the relations between the two countries have reached their highest level in history.
"Of course, the new situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh region- the post-conflict situation brought new opportunities and new challenges. Iran and Azerbaijan must coordinate their efforts as two brotherly countries and contribute to long-term and sustainable peace in the region", President Ilham Aliyev noted.
