The intervention of the Armenian Armed Forces in the territory of Azerbaijan is another provocation, and the responsibility for this lies entirely with the Armenian side, AzVision.az reports citing the joint statement issued by the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry and the State Border Service
"This provocation was aimed at escalating the situation in the state border. The Azerbaijani side will continue to take measures to prevent the violations of the state borders of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the intervention of the Armenian Armed Forces in the territory of our country. Armenia must act responsibly, respect the state borders and territorial integrity of neighbouring countries and avoid provocations in the region," the statement reads.
Note, Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry and the State Border Service have issued a statement on the violation of the Azerbaijani border by Armenian servicemen.
