North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has sent a congratulatory letter to the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of the Republic day, AzVision.az reports.
"On behalf of the government and people of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), I extend my sincere congratulations to you, the government and the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of your national holiday - Republic Day. The peoples of Korea and Azerbaijan have strengthened the ties of unity and solidarity, guided by the ideals of independence, friendship and non-alignment.
Taking this opportunity, I am confident that the friendly and collaborative relations between Korea and Azerbaijan will further expand and develop. I sincerely wish peace and prosperity to the Azerbaijani people", the letter reads.
