  VP of OSCE PA speaks about Azerbaijani journalists killed in landmine explosion

On June 10, the Bureau of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE PA) held an online meeting to discuss issues related to the holding of the annual session of the OSCE PA in July, AzVision.az reports.

Vice-President of the OSCE PA and Head of the Azerbaijani Delegation to the OSCE PA, Azay Guliyev, commented on the issues on the agenda of the meeting and made recommendations on the documents discussed.

In his speech, Azay Guliyev informed the participants about the two Azerbaijani journalists who were killed in a landmine explosion on June 4. Guliyev also highlighted that following the signing of the Karabakh peace statement, 140 Azerbaijanis injured by mines and 27 died. He stressed that Armenia's failure to provide a map of mined areas is a serious violation of international law and the 1949 Geneva Conventions.
