Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) has released a weekly report about the areas released and the items found during the humanitarian demining operations conducted in the recently liberated territories, AzVision.az reports.
596 antipersonnel, 54 anti-tank mines and 144 unexploded ordnance were seized during search operations in Tartar, Agdam, Fuzuli, Shusha, Gubadli, Jabrayil and Zangilan from 7 June until 12 June 2021. The ammunition was found and neutralized.
As a result, 1,116,762 m² (111.6 ha) was cleared of landmines and unexploded ordnance.
