Azerbaijan, Egypt hold political consultations

Cairo hosted the next round of consultations between the foreign ministries of Azerbaijan and Egypt.

Azerbaijan was represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Fariz Rzayev, while an Egyptian delegation was headed by Badr Abdelatty, the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan told AzVision.az.

The parties discussed the current state of Azerbaijan-Egypt relations, as well as ways to develop bilateral ties in economic, political, humanitarian and other areas. They also exchanged views on regional and global issues of mutual interest.

The Azerbaijani side provided information on the post-conflict situation in the region, including the ongoing restoration, construction and reintegration work in the country’s liberated territories.
