Armenian diaspora ‘has a free hand’ in Republic of Bashkortostan

In recent years, Armenians have become more active, in the Republic of Bashkortostan, which is a part of the Russian Federation. They are looting the wealth of the Turkic-speaking republic with the permission of Radiy Khabirov, who has been leading the Republic of Bashkortostan since 2018.

At present, all profitable sectors of the republic's economy are being benefited by Armenian businessmen while local businessmen are being oppressed everywhere, Alfiya Uzyanbayeva, a well-known local activist, told AzVision.az.

It should be noted that the term of imprisonment of another Bashkir activist Ramila Saitova, who was arrested in November 2020 on charges of “extremism” as a result of Armenian slander, has been extended indefinitely.

Alfiya Uzyanbayeva said, the arrest of Ramila Saitova was masterminded by Radiy Khabirov’s wife of Armenian origin, Karine Avetisyan, and her relatives, who are looting the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Ramila Saitova

“By abusing their brother-in-law’s position, they managed to illegally prolong Ramila Saitova’s jail term. Radiy Khabirov is surrounded by relatives of his wife of Armenian origin. Over the past few years, along with the republic’s economic sector, the number of Armenian officials in all local and central government officials has significantly increased. The Bashkirs are becoming foreigners in their own lands. Having taken the advantage of administrative resources, the Armenians privatized the areas around the federal highway. Mining fields and all natural resources in the Republic of Bashkortostan have been donated to Armenian companies,” Uzyanbayeva added.

“We are under pressure of foreign Armenians in our republic. Khabirov’s Armenian wife has taken the authority and appointed all her relatives. Armenians are everywhere. They want to stop our protest with prison and pressure. Local businessmen leave Bashkortostan, not being able to keep their businesses.  There is information about Armenians gathering money to support Armenia during the Karabakh war. In short, it is shameful to see such a situation in a Turkic country,” Alfiya Uzyanbayeva said.

Uzyanbayeva  said that no pressure can make them divert. “Me, Ramila and other Bashkir patriots will continue our fight against Khabirov’s Armenian group. Ramila’s next trial is scheduled for Jul 5. We already know the result. Presenting other pretences, they will not release her. However, the fight continues.”

In the meantime, when Radiy Khabirov started to lead Bashkortostan, he first appointed Armenian Shavarsh Karapetyan as his advisor. Karapetyan, who is his wife Karine Avetisyan’s relative, is currently "dealing" with the socio-economic problems of the whole of Bashkortostan.

Nature of Bashkortostan, which is rich with minerals, has been complimented to the Bashkir soda company. The head of the ‘Bashkir Soda Company'' is Malikovich Davidyan. Last year Radiy Khabirov and his Armenian gang brutally suppressed a month-long protest by Bashkir activists against an Armenian company drilling in the Shikhan Kushtau nature reserve. It is reported that rich salt, soda and other mineral mines are being exploited by Armenia in those areas.

Bashkir activists unite on social networks and make appeals to stop the Armenian seizure.
