EU Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement Olivér Várhelyi will make an official visit to the South Caucasus on July 6-9, AzVision.az reports citing Interfax.
"In Azerbaijan, Várhelyi will hold talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov, the head of the Presidential Administration Samir Nuriyev, the Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, the head of the Ministry of Energy Parviz Shahbazov and other officials."
EU Commissioner will present an economic and investment plan for the region and its initiatives for each country. Key issues of bilateral relations with each of the three states in the South Caucasus will also be discussed.
Várhelyi also affirms the solidarity of the EU with its partners in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
