Azerbaijan's chairmanship in NAM succeeded in creating bridges with other international institutions, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said during the Non-Aligned Movement Interim Conference of Foreign Ministers.
"For the first time in history, the leaders of the European Union attended the mentioned online NAM summit," he said.
"Later the EU member states supported the NAM initiative to convene the special session of the UN General Assembly," said the president.
