The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan called the military-political leadership of Armenia to refrain from provocations and deliberate aggravation of the situation on the state border of the two countries and to start negotiations on the delimitation of the state border in a civilized manner, AzVision.az reports.
"We reiterate that the responsibility for the escalation of the tension on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border lies entirely with the military-political leadership of Armenia. Currently, the operational conditions in this direction are under the control of our military units", the MoD stated.
The MoD also highlighted the significance of the prevention of Armenian provocations in order to ensure the stability of the borders of Azerbaijan.
