Immediate measures have been taken to prevent a fire in a mountainous area with a complex landscape near the village of Tikanli, Gabala district, since yesterday early hours, AzVision.az reports citing press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Relevant forces of the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Civil Defense Troops, and the North-West Regional Center, as well as a helicopter of the Aviation Detachment, have been involved in the ongoing firefighting measures. Employees of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and a group of villagers are also participating in the firefighting.
