On 10th September, 2021 Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, Center for Global & Strategic Studies (CGSS), Islamabad had a meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Pakistan, His Excellency Khazar Farhadov, AzVision.az reports.
The Executive Director of CGSS welcomed and congratulated the ambassador on his appointment to Pakistan and assured him support from CGSS during his tenure.
Mr. Khalid Taimur briefed H.E Khazar Farhadov about CGSS activities with the Embassy of Azerbaijan. He also discussed various collaborations with different institutions in Azerbaijan that include universities, think tanks and media as well.
The ambassador of Azerbaijan appreciated the efforts of CGSS in enhancing Pakistan-Azerbaijan bilateral ties. He applauded the many initiatives taken for establishing people-to-people contact, academic ties and for creating a knowledge corridor with experts from Pakistan and Azerbaijan.
It was decided that the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Pakistan and CGSS will closely work to explore other possible avenues of cooperation between both countries.
