Magnitude 6.2 earthquake strikes off Japan

An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 occurred off the southern coast of Japan’s Tokaido region, AzVision.az reports citing Anadolu Agency.

The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) reported that the quake took place at a depth of 450 kilometers (279 miles).

No tsunami alert was issued following the quake.
