All 44 days we went only forward, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said in an interview with the chief editor of the authoritative Russian National Defense magazine, a well-known military expert Igor Korotchenko, AzVision.az reports.
The head of state said: “At the end of the first day of military operations, we liberated strategically important heights in Kalbajar, Murovdag and Aghdara, as well as 6 villages - 4 in Fuzuli and 2 in Jabrayil. We have managed to break through the enemy's defense line since the very first day, and after that all 44 days we went only forward."
